Final Fantasy IX is coming to PlayStation4

Final Fantasy IX was initially released in 2000 developed and published by Square for the PlayStation video game console. Final Fantasy IX sold over 2.65 million copies in Japan making it the second highest selling game of that year. As of 31 March, 2003, the game had sold 5.30 million copies worldwide. The game was voted the 24th-best game of all time by readers of the Famitsu. 



The game was re-released in 2012 as part of the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Ultimate Box Japanese package. Ports for Microsoft Windows, IOS and Android were released in 2016.

We will have to wait to find out what port of Final Fantasy IX this will be, the PC port or an HD Remaster. The game will be available starting today on the PlayStation Store in Japan.  An announcement is expected on the launch for the rest of the world.
